DQ381 DSG (0GC) Information
The DQ381 (0GC) is a further development on the DQ380 and comes in several new vehicles where previous models were equipped with the DQ250 or DQ500.
- 7-speed
- Wet clutch
- Stock rated up to +/- 420N Nm
- G. Arteon, Golf 7.5R, S3, Kodiaq and Ateca
The aim of continuously reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions made it necessary for Volkswagen AG to develop a more efficient version of this transmission for the European market. This resulted in 2017 to the introduction of the DQ381 (0GC) gearbox. It has been designed for front and all-wheel drive cars with an engine torque up to 420Nm like the Arteon, Golf 7.5R and Audi S3 facelift.
